Solution Trainer
Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled Solution Trainer to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be Flexible/Hybrid - The successful candidate must be able to attend client sites as required.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.70 per hour based on an annualised salary of €57,898. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
Training Process Responsibilities & Training Delivery
- Assist in the Co-ordination and tailoring of the training schedule to meet the needs of the community areas including different disciplines, rosters etc.
- Assist the lead trainer in the development of all training materials required as part of the training plan.
- Assist the lead trainer in developing the training approach for the community to manage and support the delivery of the Community Care Record Programme.
- Deliver high quality end user training.
- Use a variety of methods — classroom, virtual, floorwalking, one to one, scenario-based sessions, and job role specific training.
- Adapt training style to clinical and non‑clinical user groups.
Training Materials & Documentation
- Develop user friendly training materials, guides, quick reference sheets, eLearning modules, and demonstration videos.
- Ensure materials align with clients’ standards, local workflows, and change management needs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
- Work closely with project managers, solution leads, change managers, site readiness teams, and local service managers.
- Act as a key point of contact for users during system deployments.
- Provide “at the elbow” support during go live and post go live stabilisation.
- Mentor, motivate and develop junior trainers within the project team to ensure that they can deliver responsibilities.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage deadlines and effectively handle multiple tasks.
Workflow & Process Understanding
- Understand community service workflows to contextualise digital solution use for each profession.
- Identify gaps, risks, and user challenges, escalating them appropriately.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure digital solution use complies with clinical safety standards, information governance, and best practice guidelines.
- Reinforce good data quality behaviours and safe system use.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather feedback from sessions to refine training and improve system adoption.
- Contribute to lessons learned, user experience reports, and improvement plans.
Typical Outputs
- Standardised training materials and eLearning.
- Attendance records and competency checks.
- Go live support logs and user issue summaries.
- Feedback and adoption reports.
Skills & Experience
- Experience of ICT solution training preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery and management of ICT enabled change projects ensuring the requirements are met.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Clinical experience or experience working within clinical teams would be an advantage.
